Yes. We operate 24/7 across the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, including Bondi, Coogee, Randwick, Paddington and Eastlakes. Burst pipes, blocked sewers, gas smells and failed hot water don't keep business hours, and neither do we. Call any time and you'll speak to a plumber, not an answering machine.

Anything that's actively causing damage or risk: a burst or badly leaking pipe, sewage backing up into the house, no water at all, a gas smell, or a hot water system leaking from the tank. If water or gas is going where it shouldn't, treat it as an emergency — shut off the water meter or gas valve if you safely can, and call straight away.

Most pre-1970s homes in Randwick, Coogee and Paddington still drain through original earthenware (clay) sewer pipes. Tree roots find the joints, and decades of movement crack the pipe walls. Clearing the blockage fixes the symptom; a CCTV camera inspection shows whether the pipe itself needs patching or relining so the problem stops coming back.

Coastal salt air is hard on hot water systems. Units mounted outside in Bondi, Coogee or Clovelly often show corrosion years earlier than the same model inland — external casings, valves and fittings all age faster. If your system is over 8–10 years old near the coast and playing up, a replacement is often more economical than repeated repairs.

Yes. Much of our work is in Paddington, Woollahra and Surry Hills terraces, where heritage rules limit visible external changes and attached houses often share boundary drainage. We diagnose with CCTV before digging, use relining where excavation would disturb heritage fabric, and match visible profiles where roof plumbing must be replaced.

Both, depending on the blockage. An electric eel (snake) suits small-bore blockages close to the fixture; a high-pressure water jetter cuts through roots and grease in main sewer lines far more effectively. For recurring blockages we recommend a CCTV inspection after clearing, so you can see exactly what state the pipe is in and make an informed decision.

All plumbing and gas work is carried out by plumbers licensed with NSW Fair Trading, as required by law in New South Wales. Licence details are available on request and shown on your invoice and compliance certificates where applicable.

For water leaks: turn off the water meter (usually at the front boundary) and open a low tap to drain pressure. For gas smells: don't operate switches, open windows, turn the gas off at the meter if safe, and wait outside. For sewage backups: stop using water in the house.
